Vlog #7 - Burgers, Rappers & Cool Shoes

Lately we've been encouraging people to give us suggestions to visit any places around Cali whether it be food or a mall. A few weeks ago, one of our listeners, Leo, saw our last vlog over at a restaurant in Orange, CA. He did what any good food-lover would do and suggested we try one of his favorite burger spots in Alhambra called Grill'em All! He showed is their Instagram and we were enticed by their classic Heavy Metal themed restaurant so we had to scope it out.

Shortly after we devoured our burgers, we journeyed over some massive speedbumps again to head out to Melrose for some shopping where we ran into two pretty well known rappers. After our quick stop there, we ,made our way to our final stop of the day, Citadel Outlets in Commerce, CA.

We realize it's been a while since we've done a photo blog but it's been hard to fit time to do those along with vlogs, podcasts, music, and our constantly laggy attempt at getting merch up on the online store for you guys..

The main reason why "car pages" are always on top of their merch and less on their interactive/personal content is because car pages/people do everything just to get likes follows & shares all to make some cash off of merch. But we're not a "car page", nor are we "car people". We're Unaffiliated, and if you're reading this, so are you. So bare with us, we got you.

GrimeyVibes - #012 - Shaving, Butt Stuff & Happy Endings

This was our first podcast with a female host. If you've ever listened to our previous podcasts you'll know exactly why this was a big deal. In this podcast we get a brutally introspective view on the modern young adult. Well, we definitely can't speak for all males and females but for the few of you can relate, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Vlog #4 - Tu Tu Tango

If you know us, then you know we're all about good eats. In this vlog David & I go out to Orange, California to try out some new food at a place called Cafe Tu Tu Tango. Let's just say that you can't always judge a book by its cover.

Vlog #1 - Meet Greet & Eat

We're not "OG's" or anything but we used to attend car meets back in 2011 before Instagram helped ruin the car scene. It seems like nowadays people attend car meets with the intention of getting "coverage" whether it's of their own car or of others'. It kind of takes away the "meet" in "car meet".

So what we did was we organized a day for people to come out and hang out with us and get to know each other. Ever since we've been releasing podcasts & music, we've seen a steady decrease in overall followers along with a steady increase of intimate social interaction with our listeners.

We truly can't wait to host another meet up again. Most people use social media to market or to purely gain "likes" and attention to make themselves feel better than other people but we're using social media to it's true potential to reach out to the people who fuck with us. We appreciate you guys more than you'll ever know.

We've said it once and we'll say it again, "we'd rather have a thousand soldiers than a million fans". We can see that we're "falling off" numbers wise, but we're starting to see who really fucks with us for who we are and not for what we drive. This is the transitional period where the "car people" will start to unfollow us and the real niggas start to show up, meaning ya'll (you know who you are).

Keep it real & stay Unaffiliated.

Unaffiliated - Snakes In The Artificial Grass

I know, not exactly "car related" but in the past few months we've been expanding our horizons in different ways to reach out to people. We've been hosting live stream podcasts and making music so here's our latest 10 track EP which is also available for free streaming/download. (Click the orange SoundCloud button on the right of the page).

We know these songs might not be "poppin" or something you'd hear at a club or show, but it's us. You can l Take it how you want, it's one of the most direct forms of expression and we're lucky enough to be able to do so. There's only so much you can learn about a person/people through their car/cars which is why we started doing our GrimeyVibes Podcasts and now we're proud to announce that we're going to start vlogging to give a more in-depth approach as to who we are and what we do.

Thank you for your continuous support.
